NO SHOW FEE
Tallink Silja Cargo will introduce a no show fee valid from 1st of January 2012. With this measure we will aim to get cancellations in time so we can offer places to units on the waiting list. By utilizing the car deck capacity in maximum your units will have a better chance to be shipped on required departures.
The no show fee will be charged for space which is booked and not used or not cancelled in good time. In the case of trucks or other vehicles with drivers, the booking must be cancelled at least 1 hour before the vessel's departure time and for other units 1.5 hours before the departure time. These are the same periods as the so-called closing time, which is the time when the unit must be ready and cleared in the port.
Please inform about the cancellation to the cargo booking or check-in. We kindly ask you to inform your drivers that bookings must be cancelled on time.
