Payment and cancellation terms for individual travellers. Online and mobile reservations need to be paid immediately.
NEW! If reservation is made more than 28 days before departure it must be paid within 14 days but at least 28 days before departure. If reservation is made 28 days or less before departure, it needs to be paid immediately.
The reservation can be cancelled without cancellation fee 14 days before departure. For reservations that are cancelled 13-2 days before departure a fee of 20 % is charged. Later than 48 h before departure, cancellation fee is 100%.
NEW! The reservation can be changed without additional change fee more than 14 days before departure. If new trip is more expensive, customer has to pay difference.
For reservations that are changed 13-2 days before departure and new trip is less expensive fee of 20 % of difference is charged. Additional change fee 5 € will be applied automatically.
If reservation is changed later than 48 h before departure and if new trip is less expensive - no refund. Additional change fee 5 € will be applied automatically
Online and mobile reservations need to be paid immediately.
In case the return of a reservation is unused, the price of one way ticket is deducted of the paid sum and the remainder is refunded according the cancellation terms.
Special trips
The reservation must be paid within 7 days. No possibility to change if departure is within 14 days.
The reservation can be cancelled without cancellation fee 28 days before departure. For reservations that are cancelled 27-14 days before departure a fee of 50 % is charged. Later than 14 days before departure, cancellation fee is 100%.
AirSea packages
The reservation must be paid latest 14 days before departure. The reservation can be cancelled without cancellation fee 14 days before departure. For reservations that are cancelled 13-2 days before departure a fee of 50 % is charged. Later than 48 h before departure, cancellation fee is 100%. After the air ticket is printed, no changes (not even name corrections) are possible!
Partner service providers
In case the reservation includes a service that is produced by some other company than Tallink Silja, like a hotel or another shipping company, the service provider's cancellation terms are followed. For the sea voyage provided by Tallink Silja, the payment and cancellation terms above are followed.
Ski- accommodation
A deposit of 250 € is needed per reservation within 7 days. The reservation must be paid in full latest 35 days before departure. If cancellation to accommodation is done 29 - 21 days before departure, the cancellation fee is 50%. If the accommodation is done less than 21 days before departure, the fee is 100%.
NB! • The percentage is calculated on cabins, vehicles and hotel prices, not on prepaid onboard services • For a doctor's certificate on cancellation only office fee of 12€ is charged • If the reservation is not paid by the due date Tallink Silja has the right to cancel the reservation. • There are separate payment and cancellation terms for group reservations.
