	Children are welcome as guests on Silja vessels, and we make a special effort to ensure families enjoy their stay on board.

	Silja Land Step in through the tentacles of the octopus! In Silja Land, the children’s playroom on the Promenade, you’ll find all kinds of fun activities from a ball pool to games, drawing material and toys, and, naturally, lots of new friends to play with. A schedule of events for children is also available here. The playroom is supervised by professional cruise assistants. However, you should remember that parents are responsible for their children in the playroom as well. You may also borrow a stroller for your child (a small pawn is requested), but, please, note that the strollers may be used only on board (on a cruise you may take the stroller to the city as well).

	Shopping with children In the Kids Shop on deck 6 you can pick up designer clothes for children or toys from Legos to Buragos and Barbie dolls. The Parfumerie offers trendy make-up and fragrances for teenage girls. The Tax-Free Market is a veritable sweets heaven! Fun special sweets and lots of treats you cannot find on land!

	'Funny frankfurters’ and other treats Silja Buffet offers a special price for children aged 6-17, younger children dine free of charge. The kids’ table offers everyone’s favourites! The Bistro Maxime also have special menus for children for a special price. Enjoy some snacks and a soft drink in Café Orient on deck 6.

	Sunflower Oasis – a watery paradise Sunflower Oasis, with its whirlpools and water slides, is a true paradise for the family’s water-loving youngsters. Remember to bring your swimsuits! Open 07.30-09.30 and 13.00-22.00. Prices: adults, 8 €; children 6-11 years, 4 €; children 0-5 years, 1 €. Family saunas, 34 €/h, max. 4 people.

	Which cabin to select? On this luxurious cruise ship you can select a family cabin in any class from the inexpensive Tourist I class to the grand Commodore class. Many children like the Promenade class cabins, whose windows offer a view of the lively Promenade. If you are travelling with a small child, we can arrange for a cot in your cabin that will be suitable for children up to three years of age. Contact the Info Desk on board or ask for the cot when you make your reservation. We recommend the allergy cabins for families with allergy sufferers.
