Silja LandStep in through the tentacles of the octopus! In Silja Land, the children’s playroom, you’ll find all kinds of fun activities from a ball pool to games, drawing material and toys, and, naturally, lots of new friends to play with. A schedule of events for children is also available here. The playroom is supervised by professional cruise assistants. However, you should remember that parents are responsible for their children in the playroom as well.
Cruises are popular among families with children, especially during school holidays and other holiday seasons. At these times we organise all kinds of special events for children: sports activities with the Young Finland Association, children’s theatre, shows, face painting, treasure hunting... When on board you should definitely join Silja's kids' clubs, which are free of charge but offer a number of valuable and fun benefits. You will also be sent information about special cruises direct to your home address! The Pikku Kippari club for the 0-11-year-olds and the Plankton Club for the 12-17-year-olds.

The Parfumerie offers trendy make-up and fragrances for teenage girls.

'Funny frankfurters’ and other treatsSilja Buffet offers a special price for children aged 6-17, younger children dine free of charge. The kid's table offers everyone’s favourites! The Bistro Maxime also have special menus for children for a special price. Enjoy some snacks and a soft drink in Café Orient on deck 6.

Which cabin to select?On this luxurious cruise ship you can select a family cabin in any class from the inexpensive Tourist I class to the grand Commodore class. Many children like the Promenade class cabins, whose windows offer a view of the lively Promenade.
If you are travelling with a small child, we can arrange for a cot in your cabin that will be suitable for children up to three years of age. Contact the Info Desk on board or ask for the cot when you make your reservation. We recommend the allergy cabins for families with allergy sufferers.
