Launched in 1996, the Skärgårdssmak project upholds the quality of services and products originating from the archipelago: good food, genuine handicrafts, and fresh produce and foodstuffs.
The Skärgårdssmak project covers restaurants, craftsmen, suppliers of raw produce and shops in the archipelagos of Western Finland, Åland and Stockholm.
You can identify member restaurants and shops by the white wave trademark.
In Åland these include several handicrafts shops, the Krukmejeriet workshop and pottery shop, and the Indigo, Golfrestaurangen and Glada Laxen restaurants.
