A slice of warm pancake or another homemade treat with a cup of coffee is the perfect way to start your tour around Mariehamn's streets, aligned with wooden houses and handicraft workshops.
Café Bagarstugan in the very heart of the town provides an excellent starting point as it shares its premises on Hantverkargatan with a handicraft shop run by seven local handcrafters. Here you can find items such as chandeliers by a local smith, lamb’s wool booties or hand-painted ceramic plates.
