Berlin is an everchanging city. It has become the capital of the united Germany, the old buildings have been restored and the old boarder-zone is now filled with shiny glass and steel buildings.
The city district Mitte is the old center of Berlin, where the feeling of the city chrystalizes. Mitte has lots of the old Berlin, but there is also elements of DDR and the new united Germany. From the gate opens the migty boulevard Unter den Linden -"the street under linden". It is a street where one can feel the empire era of Germany.
