Sights

Vecriga, the oldest part of Riga is definitely worth seeing. It is easy to walk around there. The unique Central market entice tourists from all around the world into taking pictures in front of the famous "House of Blackheads".

Other famous sights are, for instance, the Dome and St. Peters Cathedral, where you can stop at an observation ground and admire the beautiful city (only in the summer). In addition to the churches and the castle  there are also a lot of museums in Riga. The Home-Museum of the painter Janis Rozentals and writer Rudolf Blaumanis from the beginning of the 20th century is also worth visiting.
